lethielnyrond
I have a question. How many ways are there to tell Skyrim SE that you want it to run on your reasonable GeForce GTX 960M graphics, not your bog-standard onboard Intel 530 graphics, and is there one that might possibly stick? I found last week that when I first launched SSE I was getting not only no FPS to speak of, but also jittering grey textures on self and horse. A little search informed me that this was a common result of trying to run the game on grotty Intel graphics. I had already set it up to run on the GeForce, but I went through the settings again and made sure, and next time I launched it ran okay. And then the same thing happened the following day, and the day after that. Today I even tried disabling the damn Intel graphics. SSE still tried to run on it. It wasn't pretty. (From previous experience on online forums: Please note, while the kindness is appreciated, "buy a new computer/graphics card" is not an option. I'm a horrible poor person and what I've got is what I've got, and when it's working properly it suits my needs admirably. Your kit may be much whizzier, and I wish you much pleasure from it, but I have to work within my limitations.) I think I've covered every possible way now of making it clear that the GeForce, not the Intel, is the option to go for, but I can't be sure. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you. Lethiel
