Vortex not starting

I have an issue with Vortex failing to start. I try to open Vortex and I get a small window that reads " anunrecoverable error occurred " I have sent numerous reports with no response. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change. I also have a start issue with my Razor Cortex and am wondering if they are related? I checked the dump/log files as stated in the earlier post , and they are empty. It was working fine with no issues prior to this issue, as far as I am aware nothing out of the ordinary occurred. At least I still can start my games through NMM. any and all help is appreciated.

Confirmed that 0.16.11 pre-release (https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/releases) fixed registry check issue and can start without the aforementioned registry workaround.

I have run into a problem myself it will start up but say not responding shortly after and I would like to play modded Skyrim,People-Just use Steam mods then

Nope the mods I want to use are here on nexus,vortex and others of sorts.

im not sure if you still got that problem but i tried downloading other version of vortex and it works

i have the same issue...i downloaded vortex...installed it....after which i tried to run the app and nothing happend

 

i checked with bitdefender to make sure its not being blocked....its not

i checked the process manager...i see it starting up and closing right away

 

so i checked the event viewer...this is what i got:

i have reinstalled the app twice...still same issue same crash...hope this helps u guys troubleshoot

my vortex too.. stuck after logo text... *not responding* so sad :'(

Same issue as well. I had not used Vortex in about a month, came back today and launched it. It worked fine until it asked me to reboot and update, which I did. Now it no longer works. Steam is installed and running.

Uninstalled, installed 16.4, still having the same issue.
