deadarmour
Something that always struck me as odd... Swords cut and pierce, axes chop. The perks I think should be swapped over: Axe's Limbsplitter and Hack and Slash should do critSword's Deepwounds and bladesman should do bleed As the sword does less damage in each hit, a DOT would be more noticable/benificial to stack. The names even sound like that's what they should have done all along  Bleed damage should also be increased substantially, with daggers included in the one-handed blade perk. Hopefully someone else thinks this is a good idea. It's has been bugging me since day 1, and I can't find any mods or anyone else mentioning it. :wallbash:Thanks in advance  Edited June 23, 2012 by deadarmour
deadarmour
This is kinda what I was thinking... With the bleed: I was thinking stackable up to three times Greatsword/Sword/DaggerRank 1- 50/75/100% weapon damage bleedRank 2- 75/100/125% weapon damage bleedRank 3- 100/125/150% weapon damage bleed Lasting 5 seconds (each hit would refresh and add to the stack)(Might be a little OP; maybe dot time longer, chance to apply less like 50%). Crit should do more damage also: Waraxe/BattleaxeRank 1- 10% Crit chance 25/50/75% weapon damageRank 2- 15% Crit chance 50/75/100% weapon damageRank 3- 20% Crit chance 75/100/125% weapon damage Maybe my numbers are a little high, but because the axe is slower, the chance to crit comes around less.Oh, also It'd be cool if maces/warhammers had a chance to stagger: Mace/WarhammerRank 1- 10% Chance to stagger, ignore 25% of armourRank 2- 15% Chance to stagger, ignore 50% of armourRank 3- 20% Chance to stagger, ignore 75% of armour So that there is at least some benefit when attacking less well-armoured opponents.
