hlaalu24
Help! Well my hdd was starting to take a crap so I bought a new one and reinstalled windows and all that jazz. Anyways, I reinstalled Skyrim, then copied over my mods and saves. The game loads fine, however shortly freezes (music still plays) if I move a certain distance. For example, I can check my inventory, change armor, run in a small circle, etc, but as soon as I move maybe 15 feet, the game freezes. I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this maybe from the new patch that just came out? Or it could be that something went wrong when I copied over my files. Thanks for any suggestions! p.s. I attached a dxdiag file if there are any fellas or gals that can make sense of it. :)
bben46
Did you copy the ini files as well? If so, you need to erase them and allow the game to generate a new set as some of those settings are hardware dependent. Instead of erasing them, rename them so you can recover any custom settings you made.
