Avalan666
Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum and also kinda new to modding in general. I made some small mods for Skyrim and Divinity: OS 2, but nothing complicated. What I'm attempting to make know is a mod that changes the npc detection values (or sneak detection values) so that sneak works the same in the exterior as it does in the interiors. In gameplay settings of creation kit I found these two values:fSneakExteriorDistanceMult set to 2.1fSneakLightExteriorMult set to 0.5I assumed that the first one is the multiplier of the distance needed for the npcs to start detecting player, and the 2nd one to be responsible to how light affects sneak in the exterior. I changed both these values to 1, and it didn't do anything that I could measure in anyway. Next, I set them to 0, which completely broke stealth, npcs were unable to detect me at all, even when sprinting around them, I was completely invisible to them. Lastly, I deleted said values, which again, didn't do anything. As a last resort, I set them to negatives of themselves, and once again, I was totally invisible. I thought I was on the right track when I started modifying these values, but since I'm not sure of what they actually do, and how do they relate to other values, I don't know anymore. Please help!
