YanL
Hello. It is as follows, let's say I'm going to tick a texture of a block in nifskope 2.0. It returns me that value = "data\textures\zzzslavearmy\legionbase.dds" Ok, I know that the right path would be "textures\zzzslavearmy\legionbase.dds" which gives me one more job, to click on the path and delete the "data\" But I was thinking, it is problematic to leave the "data\"? Because this is a legal copy of the game and I belive ALL legal copy will install the textures in "data\textures" Right? Or is there any possibility of this game pointing a different path to the textures? thanks :)
dubiousintent
It is my understanding (based upon instructions to correct "hard path" errors, and looking at the folder structure in the BSA files) that "Data" should not be part of the "relative path" in a mesh. All of the "assets" are assumed to be placed "under" the game "Data" folder (whatever it might be named), so that is not necessary and might be interpreted as indicating a "data" sub-folder under the game "Data" folder (which WILL cause the engine to ignore it). It is an annoyance, but I believe you should clean up that path to be safe. -Dubious-
YanL
Got it. Equivalent to "data\data\textures\zzzslavearmy\legionbase.dds" Shame. This would save me hours of work  Thanks
