Roadkii
So the patch for Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch with EVE-IMPACT-BLEED is almost perfect, but sometime ago BLEED was updated with a different name. So now it says "BLEEDNV.esp" whereas the aforementioned patch for YUP requires a "BLEED - NV.esp". I was curious how I would go about editing the name of BLEED to the required name for the YUP patch made by pheonix0113. Several suggestions involve FNVedit, but I'm a relative toddler when it comes to FNVedit and I've seen no routes for fixing the name problem as of yet. dubiousintent
Basically you just need to rename the "BLEEDNV.esp" file to "BLEED - NV.esp". You can use Windows Explorer for that purpose. (See the last reply to the montanamb post of 27 May 2018 in the comments of "YUP 10.4 -EVE - IMPACT - BLEED".) The "filename" is not really that important. What matters is that ALL dependent plugins (not just YUP's) looking for BLEED can locate the master file by that name, and the record-ids match. However, what you have to watch out for is if there are any record-id changes between the two versions of BLEED. If there are, then someone needs to create a new version of the YUP patch file. I did something similar in the "Multiple file Merge-Up Procedure" article when I created a new version of "WeaponModsExpanded.esp" (WMX) that combined it with it's optional plugins into a single "master" plugin. I had to add the new version of WMX as master to some dependent plugins that had formerly had one of the optional plugins as the only master, then "Clean Masters" and resolve any records that remained to use the new master instead until the old master was removed from the File Header. -Dubious-
