I can click on things on me desktop while I'm playing.

I've recently installed a whole bunch of mods, and one of them must have destroyed my game.

The problem does not occur in the main title, it's first when I enter the game mode that the bug occurs.

I know that re-installing all the mods could be a solution, but I'm trying my luck here first.

 

 

 

As you can see in the photo I've attached (above), the game window does not fill the entire screen, even though it isn't noticeable in game. That means that when I'm playing, the "Windows cursor" becomes visible when i turn my in-game camera to the left or up, and hovers over the blue top or side bar. Then if I accidentally right-click while the Windows cursor is visible, the game will minimize, like if you pressed the Windows/Super-button.

 

I've checked my .ini file, and it says that I am in full screen mode, and the resolution is the same as the monitors default.

That was your first mistake. You most likely did not test each one one at a time to make sure there were no conflicts.

 

BUT. . . sometimes i have a similar issue when I alt+tab out of the game. I click on the game to open it back up and all i get is that black maximized window. All i have to do is hold alt down and press tab several times to cycle through the windows until it lands back on skyrim, then the game comes back just fine.

 

Its a long shot but worth a try.
