Farnsworth Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Hi, not sure where to post my issue so I figured this would be a good place to start. As of yesterday, Nexus Mod Manager tells me for each and every file I try to download on nexusmods.com that the "file does not exist". I go to skyrim.nexusmods.com, chose a mod I want to implement, click on "Download with manager" and then I get an error message from the nexusmod manager that the file does not exist. Help?
bben46 Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 It's a known bug that affects some people but not all.The easiest way around it for now is to download the mods manually, place them into a folder where they will be easy to find - such as c:\modsThen install mods using the NMM manual installation From the NMM Mods Tabclick the top puzzle icon select Add mod from a file (NOT add file from a URL)Then navigate to the place you downloaded to and select the file - NMM should do the rest.
