bluntblade5
Hi, so I've tried porting over a couple of LE mods (Inconsequential NPCs, SCRR and both Guarded Leaders mods) and none of them are showing up in my list of plugins, so I can't do the final conversion step in the Creation Kit. I don't recall having any such issue with the same mods before the update came and scotched my setup, so what's gone wrong? I'm also getting a CTD in the prologue, but am trying to resolve this issue first and then I'll go to sort that out. Still, my current loadout is: 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp 6 6 Campfire.esm 7 7 Falskaar.esm 8 8 SkyUI_SE.esp 9 9 3DNPC.esp 10 a Immersive Sounds - Compendium.esp 11 b dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp 12 c dD-Medium Script Range.esp 13 d iHUD.esp 14 e Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp 15 f SkyRe_Main.esp 16 10 SkyRe_Races.esp 17 11 ReProccer.esp 18 12 SkyRe_Combat.esp 19 13 SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp 20 14 SkyRe_EnemyScaling.esp 21 15 Daedric Dawnbreaker.esp 22 16 Elemental_Staffs.esp 23 17 RLO - Interiors.esp 24 18 Book Covers Skyrim.esp 25 19 Skyrim Immersive Creatures Special Edition.esp 26 1a RLO - Exteriors.esp 27 1b RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp 28 1c SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp 29 1d Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp 30 1e Perfect Legionnaire - Troops Re-equipment.esp 31 1f Run For Your Lives.esp 32 20 Inigo.esp 33 21 Immersive Patrols II.esp 34 22 Frostfall.esp 35 23 High Level Enemies - SIC SE Edition.esp 36 24 High Level Enemies - SIC SE Edition - Falskaar.esp 37 25 1nivWICCloaks.esp 38 26 AmazingFollowerTweaks.esp 39 27 CollegeDaysWinterhold.esp 40 28 Convenient Horses.esp 41 29 moonpath.esp 42 2a BellyachesNewDragonSpecies.esp 43 2b DiverseDragonsCollectionSE.esp 44 2c KS Dragon Overhaul.esp 45 2d Companions Radiant Quests Requirement.esp 46 2e PrvtIRoyalArmory.esp 47 2f Dawnguard Delayed - Level 30.esp 48 30 Dragonborn Delayed - After Alduin's Wall.esp 49 31 WetandCold.esp 50 32 Footprints.esp 51 33 RLO - Effects.esp 52 34 RLO - Illuminated Spells.esp 53 35 Ish's Souls to Perks.esp 54 36 HothFollower.esp 55 37 HothFollower UFO Patch.esp 56 38 Unique Uniques.esp 57 39 SIC - ICH Patch.esp 58 3a Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp 59 3b RealisticWaterTwo.esp 60 3c RealisticWaterTwo - Needs Mod Patch.esp 61 3d RealisticWaterTwo - Waves.esp And I've just spotted the "needs mod patch" bit on Realistic Water Two. Algabar
Tracking down CTDs is always hard. Only thing I came across in your load order: Amazing Follower tweaks installed, but "Hoth Follower UFO" patch. Regarding porting:What mod manager are you using?Basically, you'd download the mod you want to port manually, then install that downloaded file to Skyrim SE with your mod manager. Porting a large NPC mod like "inconsequential NPCs" will be a larger task, though. That's not just re-saving the esp in the SE Creation Kit. To do a proper port, you would also have to unpack the BSA file and convert the head meshes with NIF optimizer. There's also a common glitch with NPC eyes after conversion, so you would have to fix that:https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5058135-sse-nif-optimizer/page-103&do=findComment&comment=54592653Then you should (optionla, but strongly recommended) re-pack the BSA file. OFC it CAN be done. But porting large NPC mods is a tedious task. I spent a whole weekend properly converting "Inhabitants of Skyrim" (OFC for personal use only). bluntblade5
NMM. I've added the ported mods using that (I've gone by the guide on the Nexus). I did also do the whole NIF rigmarole so hopefully that's OK. I did also do the BSA thing, but it looks like I failed to include ESPs in the archive. Suspect that was my mistake. That patch came as part of the Hoth mod I think - is it worth simply disabling that? Edited October 28, 2018 by bluntblade5
bluntblade5
Yep, that foolish omission was the issue. Now to try and work out what's up with the CTD.
