juul23
I've just recently started playing, and I am looking for mods that will enhance the game. I've installed the one that hides your helmet <rant>Why let us spend so much time on our faces/hair if you're just going to cover it up. Stupid devs!</rant> I've also added the Cloaks of Skyrim. What other mods really add to the gameplay experience? I'd especially like something that will brighten up the colors. What I have seen of the world so far looks rather dull and bland (realism, I suppose). My system specs:3.7GHz AMD Phenom IIX48G RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX II 560 TiWindows Ultimate Running Skyrim on Ultra settings, as suggested. Thanks in advance for your input! dragonslayer2k12
There is that 2k texture mod around here somewhere and if you take some bits and pieces from the official HD patch and just throw them in the game directory instead of using the whole patch the game runs better. The official HD patch has some bugs that mess up the game cause stuttering sometimes for me. I have the same video card as you and latest drivers. Sometimes If I get anywhere near a fire the game slows to a crawl if the HD patch is enabled. But extracting HD armors from the patch seem to do ok. I am trying to find a good mix between what works from the official HD patch and that guy 2k texture mod and some other texture mods for clothes and fancy clothes. Haven't tried CBBEv3 yet but want to get to it later though and better hair mods too but some of them look way too metro for my taste lol.
