write own signs

i have a mod like this for another game but would like to know if its possible for FO4.

 

Build signs (blank templates different sizes and shapes) in the workshop, place them somewhere then click on them to add a text that will be diplayed

I tried making this mod once using TextInputMenu, but noticed rather quickly that you can't get individual characters from a text, so... :/

There are mods on Nexus that let you build customizable posters and pictures. You could probably use those to make signs.
