Why Are They All Shooting At Me!?!

I'm currently trying to get the Khans to break their alliance with the Legion. I'm at the point in our story where I have to go to The 188 and talk to Ezekiel. So, off I go. I fast travel there with my three companions in tow. then all hell breaks loose.

First the Destitute Traveler shows red on my compass and attacks us unprovoked, no problem; it's one against four so he's dead. Then a moment later it seems like everyone opens up on us (Even an NRC Heavy, whom I've never seen before). I'd spent a lot of time gaining a good reputation with the NRC, but because of this it's shot to hell.

My question is, WTF!? Is this some kind of glitch due to the mods I'm using (this includes all the DLC):

Actually Bethesda kinda forced the release before Obsidian really finish everything so they are not "letting obsidian away" with nothing :P But that's another story.

 

Anyway, do you have bad rep with NCR? From the wiki

 

The destitute traveler will act hostile towards you if you have a negative reputation with the NCR.

 

That may explain why the 188 doesnt attack you at first, but they do after they see you killing the Destitute Traveler.

You mentioned there are 4 of you, are any of your companion legion or anti NCR?

 

Maybe double check their faction in fnvedit?
