dragonquestxi Remove parts of armour by deleting texture possible?

Hey I tried removing the roses on the shoes of Jades divine bustier outfit, by deleting said part of the texture, but they just turn white. Am i doing something wrong or is it not possible to make the roses transparent using texture moding? I used the eraser tool and removed the lock from the layer. Maybe I'm saving the texture wrong? I'm using Photoshop and Intels plugin.

Nope, you simply can't remove parts of the 3d models or make them transparent by only editing the texture files.

 

The best you can do is change the colors, absolutely nothing else.
