Only a few mods, but still having CTD's

I have been suffering from frequent CTD's in Skyrim so I recently decided to severely cut down the number of mods that I use. I am running the latest version of Skyrim on steam.

My brother is running dozens of mods and he isn't having any issues.

Here are my system specs:

Windows 8 Release Preview x64

Intel DX48BT2 Motherboard

Geforce GTX 295

Intel QX9770 3.2 GHz

8GB of OCZ Dual Channel DDR3 1333MHz Gold Series RAM

1TB Samsung Spinpoint HD103UJ

1000W Bronze Series Rosewill PSU

Is there some program that I can run in the background of Skyrim that will create an error log when I get these CTD's?
