lucivar77
The CBBE body and textures I use are applying fine. However, when I try and build the cbbe body it never applies in game, It says it is writing to; Local Disk (C:)\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\femalebody.nif However, I also have another folder with a female body.nif under Local Disk (C:)\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\Femalebody.nif Is the game supposed to have 2 locations for femalebody.nif? If not I have no clue what is causing this problem.
Deleted49413338User
I don't think there should be two. Idk, I don't use that mod...Well I did to create some things but I don't use it in a conventional way. But, if you keep the one you created in Body slide and then cut the old one and pase it somewhere else as a back up, that should work but It would replace every female body in game I think? The one you created will have a newer date, if you don't have nifskope to open it. You could probably avoid this by renaming the nif your main character uses in xedit by renaming the Armor Addon to something like Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\Femalebody001.nif and then rename the new nif you created in bodyslide to have the same name. Keeping the original Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\Femalebody.nif file for npcs and only changing your own body. I am surprised CBBE doesn't do this already? Deleted49413338User
Actually, I couldn't see a record that selects what the nif file the Player character uses as a naked skin in Xedit. IDk if it is assigned to individual NPCs or to just entire races or something. There is an entry for Skin but its blank by default. I wonder if you can add a record there that points to an armor add-on So you could use the body slide nif for your player only. Again, I am sure CBBE probably already incorporates this option. VIitS
It is saving to the wrong place, make sure your Game Data Path in your Bodyslide settings includes the Data folder at the end. Right now it looks like it created and is saving to a Meshes folder outside your Data folder, which the game won't see.
