IntiS
Well heres what happend today. On day 70 I decided to start the main quest, so I head on a my long journey from my cave in Gnisis to Balmora. I get to Balmora and do the first quest, and a quest where I kill 5 of the Commona Tong. Well anyway I got back to Balmora around 2:00 AM, and put my thief to sleep. After an hour of slumber I get awaken by a bad dream/disturbance in sleep! I go to the Caisus and he asks me if im looney...Well I didnt think anything of it untill I go to the bookseller here in Balmora and read a book on vampires. Well come to find out a common sympton of vampirinism is disturbances in sleep... So I might be a vampire? Ive quarrled with many NPC'S, so i might have contracted the disease? I want to know more......
MichaelG
Well, it really depends. If there was a movie that played, you're probably infected. Yet, if it was just you waking it, probably not. I have had quite a few instances where I was sleeping and I was awoken hours early for no reason I could find out, but I have a clean bill of health. To clarify what the book says:It's more refering to movies that play while you sleep (dreams).
IntiS
Yea I had a dream! I forget what they said the dream was about... but maybe he wrote it down in the journal... Ill check it out. I researched and here is what I dreamed about. A tall figure with a golden mask led me among the dead as through a wedding celebration. I heard many voices but no lips moved. I strained to breathe, but my chest didnt move. My tongue fluttered in vein........

cmac
If there was a movie that played, you're probably infected. That happens when you're a werewolf- not a vampire. Vampires recieve disturbing dreams inflicted by bloodlust. In text form. but I have a clean bill of health. When you are a vampire, sleeping does not restore your health. It DOES when you are a werewolf. For those who want to know... ***** :!: :!: !!!!!SPOILER!!!!! :!: :!: ***** The dreams are dream broadcasts from the Sharmat, Dagoth Ur. He is sendint these evil dreams to you and to many others, and turning them into crazed lunatics who attack Imperial citizens. After you get to Antabolis' quest, you will recieve the dreams yourself and the Dreamers will awake. There are two (both male Dunmer) in Balmora. You can stop the flow of Sleepers and Dreamers in towns by stopping the local dream uplink in the closest Sixth House shrine. This means killing the Dagoth in the innermost shrine. MichaelG
I meant clean bill of health as in I wasn't infected with anything. And you can surely tell I've done all the main quests!
