I was hoping to trigger merchants to behave differently depending on the amount of gold in their inventory. However I can not find anything in the trigger or flag files. Does anyone know if one of these triggers exists or how to create one if not? foamyesque Posted November 2, 2018 Share Posted November 2, 2018 There's a condition function, GetGold, that you can use to modify things like AI packages, dialogue, etc. You can also find it in Papyrus for use in scripts. You can fake a transaction between NPC merchants, but an actual sale in the sense that a player does it, where prices are automatically calculated based on speech skill/perks, is not possible. It's also worth noting that merchant sale inventory (incl. gold) is mostly contained in a hidden chest, which can significantly complicate things depending on what you choose to do.
