Vortex installs randomly FO4 mod "croup manor cleaned and fixed" for SSE

I'm using Vortex with SSE but it names random mods "croup manor cleaned and fixed". But that's a FO4 mod I never downloaded. Sometimes there are two or more installations of that mod and it's hard to get rid of them. Is it possible to fix this annoying issue?

i have the same problem

it also puts them in 'location - vanilla' category

might help you find them all

it acts a lot like a virus, becareful

Which mods get renamed to "croup manor cleaned and fixed"? Are you on the current Vortex version 0.16.12?

 

What is a typical series of events you go through before mods get renamed as you say?

yes i have the current version

they seem to have stopped upon deletion of the last one

also it may or may not be responsable for a weird save glich

where vortex sometimes would reset mods so for example - even if items had been in my inventory i had to refind them

not sure just a possablity that it was the cause

--also i previously stated it put them in 'location - vanilla' (as the mod involved)

it also changed the author, discription, and such

the 'mod name' showed up fine

--just advice--

it may come up again w/ this or other mods

the tag made it a lot easier to delete if this happens to you sort it then delete it fast

it spreads at a moderate pace but makes mods worthless
