Moraelin Posted November 5, 2018 Share Posted November 5, 2018 Does anyone know if the two have some kind of conflict? It started when I recruited Ellen and sent Piper back to her home. (Hey, someone has to care for her sister.) Ellen said she joined but stayed in the pub when I went away. (Can't blame her, I figured. I like Bobrov's moonshine too :wink:) I had to come back and talk to her again, at which point she remembered that she's supposed to stick by me, not by the vodka bottle. Since then, well, basically both Ellen and Heather, which I had with me all along, have started acting like, well, each has only half a brain now. One or the other will start standing around catatonic, even while a gang of raiders are shooting at her. One or the other will occasionally stay behind instead of fast travelling with me. Both feel like they have to stand up to talk, even when Heather is set to enhanced sneak mode. You get the idea. Now I had been travelling with Heather for literally the last 50 levels straight, and I hadn't noticed her doing that before Ellen joined the gang. Well, maybe except for the standing to talk occasionally, like the vanilla NPCs. It's stupid, but it seems to be the standard Beth behaviour, so I can't blame it on either companion. Anyway, I can't tell for sure if those are what's conflicting, because, well, lately I've been adding and removing mods like a maniac (I haven't uninstalled anything with long running scripts, tho), so it's quite possible that something else is screwing up the NPCs.
