[LE] NiAlphaProperty - Nifskope vs. ingame

Hi everyone,

im looking for someone who can help me make sense of the way nifskope renders objects vs the way Skyrim (LE) renders objects.

Object of interest:

a mesh i made makes use of NiAlphaProperty with blending enabled to to handle the apperance of animated textures.

The problem is the game doesn't seem to be on the same page as nifskope as far as rendereing goes.

the object has two meshes, one layered over the other

the first alpha uses src color / dst color blending

the overlay uses src alpha / dst alpha blending

At least in nifskope .. the game makes use of those values differently

is there a way to predict how the game will render without just randomly trying out values?

sure i could go on and just try out value by value but id rather avoid wasting unnecassary time.

Advice on this is greatly appreciated.

greetings,

testiger
