xxgotholicxx
So in Fallout 76 you can scrap junk at any old crafting station anywhere in the world, rather than just workshops at settlements. This would be pretty nifty to have in Fallout 4 wouldn't you say?I don't know what it would take to create this in Fallout 4 but I thought I would just bring up the topic. Thanks for reading!
Richwizard
There is a lovely mod called "The Mobile Mechanic" by fadingsignal. It gives you a craftable (at the chem station) portable workbench you or a companion can carry. By itself, it does nothing. But, you can also craft various kits for cooking, armor, etc. One of these kits is for scrapping junk. The portable workbench weighs 15 pounds and the kits each weigh 4 pounds. You can effectively carry all the basic workbenches with you. I tend to make an extra portable workbench and scrap kit to leave at various workshops just for scrapping junk. This mod and concept predates FO76 by a couple of years. Edited November 6, 2018 by Richwizard
SKKmods
Or there are mods that automatically scrap junk as you add it to the player inventory. Even more efficient than pressing the crafting station buttons.
Richwizard
Auto scrapping isn't for everyone. I like to save some junk items for decoration.
SKKmods
You wont be using the "Scrap all junk" crafting station option in Fallout 76 then ;)
