talbot6832
Replace female soldiers with men? In my fantasy world I'm a sexist a**ehole and women should either be Queens, selling stuff or in the kitchen. I do not want to see some skinny blonde wielding a 2 handed battleaxe that looks like it would snap her arms off mid attack. Silly and daft. Any help? Ozi27
In my opinion,The Elder Scrolls series are FANTASY games. If it would be realistic medieval simulation,i would agree with this idea,,,,,but being fantasy,it is "normal" that there are beautyful, sexy, combat trained and lethal women. duchuy613
How about we erase the female soldiers and however, add named female heroes cuz female can be heroes too (and not everyone can be a soldier) :D After that, lets increase the number of female seller, commoner, etc. And about bards, let all bards be female cuz the reason is simple, during war time, men are suppose to be on battlefield, not singing in some inn for a few spare coin. Moreover, why dont the army take away all male beggars? I mean cmon, even if they'r beggar, they'r men and when they joined the army, they'll get FREE FOOD while their wive at home will take care of their "beggar business"? Sound fair? Edited June 27, 2012 by duchuy613

David Brasher
This would be a very time-consuming task, but would not require a very high skill level. If you wanted to learn to mod, this would be an easy first project for you to work on. Just jump into the CK and start changing the genders of hand-placed actors and editing which actors are included on the leveled lists. The hardest part would be unique NPCs with quest dialog. It would probably be best to leave them all alone and only change the enemies on leveled lists and the non-hostile NPCs who have no quest dialog. You could probably disable all the male beggars unless they are involved in quests. Setting up bards is hard, although with work, the mod could be made to have all the bards be female. This mod idea is not so politically correct in this day and age, but I have heard it requested before, and it would be more historically accurate to have it so in a time of war, a village would be full of nothing but women, children, and old men. Moraelin
Fine by me, but then also remove all magic from males, because in the Norse world Seidr magic was generally a woman thing. Even Odin is accused of doing an unmanly thing for doing it. On the other hand, funnily enough, the Norse did have women warriors, namely the Shieldmaidens. So it seems to me like the requests to remove those have nothing to do with historical realism, or with the ancient Norse being sexist a-holes. It just has to do with some modern day people being sexist a-holes.
David Brasher
I got to thinking about this mod request and decided that in a simplified form it would be quick to build. I have uploaded two versions of it here: Skyrim Scaling Stopper The first version makes it so men don't usually become guards, soldiers, bandits, and such. Going around in the game world, you will mostly see women carrying weapons and fighting. The second version makes it so women don't usually become guards, soldiers, bandits, and such. These patches for the overhaul mod edit what gender of unnamed respawning NPCs, mostly hostile, appear on the leveled lists. Neither patch is politically correct, but people now have a choice they did not have before.
