ashtonsoulfire
So Iâm attempting to play fallout 4 at a pc cafe. Since every one of thier PCs have steam on it I just needed to instal fallout 4 after a few hours I had all the mods installed and working. When I logged off and came back the next day as the center is programmed to wipe clean the C drive and E drive âwhere steam is installedâ back to the centers origonal installs I lost the intire fallout 4 directory and exe and had to reinstall fallout 4 all over again. However nexus mod manager and all my mods were saved because I put them in the x drive which is where they store your account specific data. My question is Can I instal fallout 4 to the x drive instead of the default E drive where steam resigns and still play?
bbiller
If you set that x as a storage location, then yes Fallout 4 can go there, but check the disk space they gave you. Mods take space and you are basically duplicating there, then you have the install for Fallout 4 and the save files, so you'd be better off with your own computer long term. ashtonsoulfire
Thanks, I use to have a good rig but fell on hard times so I casual the public computers. The x drive has 10 terrabites since it holds multiple accounts so no worries there. Just didnât want to waste my time installing again if it would just wipe but thanks again for the advice
