So Iâm attempting to play fallout 4 at a pc cafe. Since every one of thier PCs have steam on it I just needed to instal fallout 4 after a few hours I had all the mods installed and working. When I logged off and came back the next day as the center is programmed to wipe clean the C drive and E drive âwhere steam is installedâ back to the centers origonal installs I lost the intire fallout 4 directory and exe and had to reinstall fallout 4 all over again. However nexus mod manager and all my mods were saved because I put them in the x drive which is where they store your account specific data. My question is

Can I instal fallout 4 to the x drive instead of the default E drive where steam resigns and still play?

If you set that x as a storage location, then yes Fallout 4 can go there, but check the disk space they gave you. Mods take space and you are basically duplicating there, then you have the install for Fallout 4 and the save files, so you'd be better off with your own computer long term.
