AstralFire Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I have a 360 controller layout that's got 117 downloads and 2 endorsements put up 11 days ago. It's still reading as my hot file.My main mod has 1,296 downloads and 40 endorsements put up 38 days ago. One of these is much higher than the other.
Thandal Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 The formula for "Hot" includes "newness" as an ingredient. So the rate of UDLs since first posted is a factor. Then there's the ratio of Endorsements to UDLs, and maybe some other stuff (like a cut-off age, perhaps.) And the weighting of each factor is also a closely guarded secret. (Dark0ne won't even tell us Staff. :laugh: )
