Finalize Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 (edited) Greetings to you, I really hope someone can help me out here! I've got this issue with my Skyrim a while ago, where my UI bugs out completely when I go outdoors. Indoors, everything works fine, but when I exit, say, an inn, my UI goes crazy. The experience bar fills up, even if it really shouldn't be full, and the compass is all bugged with the icons spread over the screen, not inside the compass, and my stamina bar doesn't empty when I run, but the whole green bar moves. Last, but not least, my or the enemies health bar's dont react to anything. I lose health, but the health bar stays idle. Here's a screenshot of the stamina bar and the compass. http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/5484/skyrimn.jpg At first I thought it would be because of ImmersiveHUD after updating it to 1.6.3 from 1.4, but I removed that mod and it didnt help. Then I removed all of my mods, but the UI still doesn't work outdoors. Finally I deleted the whole game folder, and the ini files, and re-installed Skyrim, but still, when I start a new game or load my old saves, I get this s*** when I go outdoors. As I said, the UI works fine indoors. Please, someone, tell me what to do :) e. Issue solved, was caused by AMD Catalyst 12.7 beta drivers. Edited June 29, 2012 by Finalize
MaybeAsrak Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I have the same problem even with no mods enabled.
ChewieBacca Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Same problem, 12.7 Drivers..thought it was just me, thanks for posting this. Using the 12.7 Drivers, I changed the Shadow Resolution down to 1024 from 4096, fixed the problem. Shadows look bad, but UI is fixed Edited July 1, 2012 by ChewieBacca
Bluot Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I have the same problem even with no mods enabled.Oh thank you so much for this! This fixed it for me too! It was very annoying.
shadoom23 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 had the same issue 12.7, took me a while to figure it out. After removing all mods it still was the same - way to go AMD/ATI Releases a skyrim performance driver (beta) yet it doesnt work with skyrim :ugly:
kevkiev Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I'm still on 12.1 because I've found posts of Skyrim problems for every driver since then. From the "if it ain't broke...." dept. Thank goodness Steam isn't in charge of driver updates.
