QuagaarWarrior
Not bad advice from Pippboss, give that a try. I do not believe Thunderchild will be the issue however. It has no required files and is not particularly load order sensitive (plus its an Enai mod). Sorry if this is patronising but you are using the SE version of Thunderchild right? QuagaarWarrior
As for your question about SKSE, when installing mods, you get the choice of merge/replace/cancel. For mods that are SKSE plug-ins, I choose MERGE, and then merge them into SKSE64. Thus reducing the amount of plug-ins loaded. This technique was demonstrated by Gopher on his modding guide. Can you link me to the video? It will help me understand what you are doing with the SKSE mods
nagrom2608
Alot of these videos have the suggestion of merging into SKSE Beginner's Guide to Modding Skyrim: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DdhDG41roBVJfNCqvO5MmKP After narrowing the bad mod to Thunderchild, testing all mods in blocks of 10. To see if any more issues. Resort via LOOT, I NOW have a game that works...... So far. My next question is this. Since you can't really change the load order once you've saved. Seeing as that order is baked into the save file, what are you supposed to do if you want to add new mods that need to be somewhere in the load order, and not just at the very bottom. Surely the load order would change when you put these new mods in the correct place... Thanks for all the advice till now guys, and gals. VERY much appreciated. nagrom2608
And yeah it's the SE version of Thunderchild. I'm baffled as to why TC would be causing this issue myself. All I know is when it's activated, it crashed. Switched it off, it's fine.... Or at least it seems to be.
QuagaarWarrior
a lot of these videos have the suggestion of merging into SKSE Beginner's Guide to Modding Skyrim: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DdhDG41roBVJfNCqvO5MmKP Ok there is quite a few videos there and I dont really want to watch them all. Can you narrow it down to a particular video or time stamp? Are these videos for Oldrim and Nexus Mod Manager? https://youtu.be/DG3eqyNOByw Link for Gamerpoets installation of MO2. Not sure it covers SKSE though Edited November 10, 2018 by QuagaarWarrior
nagrom2608
I'll be honest, THATS NOT the guide I followed. I thought it was. The guide I used a while ago was by Gopher, and covered Oldrim, and MO. This one is for NMM. My apologies. All he was doing was any mods that required SKSE he merged into SKSE using the merge option on installation. I cant for the life of me find the guides anymore.
