Seems interesting though wouldn't coal be mined dry as a result of the resource wars? Even now we're seeing coal mines dry out as an increasing rate. Edited by CiderMuffin

Well not really, as Coal was not an issue with the resource wars. The resource wars focused on more refined sources of energy such as liquid fuel and nuclear energy. Even by today's standards coal is too outdated to ever go back to as a major power source. Also, it is a fact that in Fallout 76 there is still coal mines, because even though its not a major source of energy it still has uses like in our real world.
