Upload of a mod containing folders and files by another author without the original author‘s permission for use and redistribution and without the original author’s permission/sub licence that allows the uploader to give permission for further use of the original mod author’s assets in the file.

 

 

The user downloaded the original mod 11 September 2018, 2:51AM and used/re-uploaded the original files 11 September 2018, 3:51AM.

 

The uploader has ignored the original mod author’s general prohibition from use of any of their assets and has not credited the original author.

 

Uploader’s „Asset use permission“:

„You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file“

Permission/sub licence from the original author that allows the uploader to give such permission for use of any of the original author’s assets in the mod has not been provided.

Submissions must conform to the following guidelines:

 

• Submission of existing user-submitted content without obtaining permission from the original author(s) of said content is strictly prohibited.

 

• Proper credit to the original author(s) must be given unless the author(s) has/have specified that credit is not necessary. Please, be aware that the mere accreditation of an author is no substitute for receiving explicit permission to upload or modify someone else’s content.
