So I recently started playing Skyrim again and it had been working fine for the past few days, then earlier today when I went to start it up I got the following error after pressing the play button:

After some research I found some people with similar issues and had tried all the fixes they all used (changing sound quality - using alternate launchers - uninstalling/re-installing skyrim (and steam). I have no idea what could be causing this problem, I had a few add-ons but none that people reported causing this problem and I hadn't changed anything on my computer between the time the game was working, and then when it suddenly began crashing. Willing to try any fixes you think may help - I need to get back to punching dragons with my fists!

Is TESV.exe and SkyrimLauncher.exe set to run as Admin?

Do you have the following .dll file in your game directory?:

atimgpud.dll

Also if you use SKSE is it up to date, and do you launch with it??
