Bayawulf
So I recently started playing Skyrim again and it had been working fine for the past few days, then earlier today when I went to start it up I got the following error after pressing the play button: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: TESV.exe Application Version: 1.6.89.0 Application Timestamp: 4fc520a3 Fault Module Name: aticfx32.dll Fault Module Version: 8.17.10.1124 Fault Module Timestamp: 4f98d58f Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00034824 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 After some research I found some people with similar issues and had tried all the fixes they all used (changing sound quality - using alternate launchers - uninstalling/re-installing skyrim (and steam). I have no idea what could be causing this problem, I had a few add-ons but none that people reported causing this problem and I hadn't changed anything on my computer between the time the game was working, and then when it suddenly began crashing. Willing to try any fixes you think may help - I need to get back to punching dragons with my fists!
