Hiding dismembered body parts on load?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to decorate an interior location with dismembered dead human bodies, and I need a help with this.

I've already tried doing this by placing actors in the cell, marking them "starts dead", then attaching the "defaultDismemberOnLoad" script. This script, however, will still show the dismembered parts right next to the dead bodies. What I am trying to do is making the bodies look like they had been dismembered somewhere else and then moved to their current locations. I'm wondering if anyone would know of a way to achieve this. Dismember function has only options of 1) explode, 2) severe, 3) bloody mess, and no option for hiding the body part, as far as I can tell.

Or is there headless human body movable static assets somewhere? I just need a pile of headless corpses. I've found the raider ones in static section, but I need unclothed settlers.

....This post sounds a little weird I guess, lol.

Hi Werr, thank you for chiming in!

What I am trying to achieve is actually the opposite, though. I do have a plan for using those dismembered heads, but I need headless bodies at the moment. I am hoping this asset to be a squishy variation, dead actor or movable static, so that I can pile them up in a natural way.

do you need them to look like clean severed limbs? There are limb meshes in the gore section, though they look quite chewed up. You could easily turn those into static items.

There is probably a better way to get the default severed limbs. I wouldn't know. But if not, you could make some using Outfit studio if you are familiar with it. after deleting the rest of the body, you would just need to insert any sort of mesh into the top stump to fill in the hollow gap. Probably,

the limbs from the gore section would work best. They are multiple triShapes so you would only need the top part, inset it in and use the shrink or grow tool. If there is no other way to get the default severed limb easily this could work, but there is most likely an easier way.

Thank you Oynlen for ideas!

...Honestly, though, I really don't want to go that far with this one, as this is only for one quest. Outfit studio is not something I'm familiar with, either, and I only have experience using NifSkope for making simple mashup furnitures. I don't know anything about manipulating human nif.

I am wanting a visual of humans piled up like headless chickens in a food processing plant. Since they are to be fed to food processors, the body must be ready for the transformation, you see, lol. The headless body assets for raider camps - I am already using them (those are static and stiff), but for this particular scene, I want unclothed settlers in a squishy state and movable.

I think I am going to just use bodies with head attached. I've spent enough time on this quest, and I need to move on.

Thank you very much again guys, for your help. Have a nice day!
