Deleted49413338User Posted November 12, 2018 Share Posted November 12, 2018 I Have posted many request for someone to make Night Vision batteries for Fading Signals Tactical goggles mod. I assume this is far out of my league is no one has done it yet. So. this is more of a request as well as some questions. For myself, I am happy with the Night Vision effect only, I don't really use the life detect or thermal versions. Would it be possible for me to create a consumable item that gives the Night vision spell, then add the condition that nvg must be equipped or that equipped must have keyword etc. for it to work? That part seems simple. But I would want to add a fairly long duration to the spell that resembles battery drain and, if possible have it pause when the condition isn't met. As in, when the goggles are unequipped. This sounds like something not possible with just Xedit. If its possible with some Scripting, I would like to request if someone would like to make a mod like that? Ideally, the battery spell would just give the duration to the object effect that is equipped, so it would work for all types of NVG and perhaps other items too, But if not possible, I would be happy to have just a battery that gives the night vision only effect with condition of having the correct piece of headgear equipped.
