CareerKnight Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 Just hit level 5 in the main campaign as my paladin and wanted to multiclass into Favored Soul but after I finish picking my skills and spells and it goes to the tab telling me what I gained that level but when it goes back to the game I'm still level 4 waiting to pick what I want for level 5. CareerKnight Posted July 3, 2012 Author Share Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Some addition info that I didn't notice before, after I hit finish and return to the world to see that my character hasn't lvled I have a message in the chat saying character has too many feats. Seems to be a bug with the favored soul and the deity's weapon proficiency being placed in with the feats instead of class ability (at least if the weapon is exotic) and this causes the problem. CareerKnight Posted July 7, 2012 Author Share Posted July 7, 2012 The mod mentions two fixes for the favored soul, one makes it so wisdom determines spell dc like it says it does (which the game may have already fixed since the mod is old though has been updated) and the other is "Favored Soul fix code in levelup no longer sends the player debug messages" which may or may not fix the issue. Kind of doubt it since I don't think I was receiving a debug message, just a server warning. Regardless it is a massive mod to get if I'm only after one little fix to a class. Tchos Posted July 7, 2012 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Okay, but I interpreted that note to be a comment on a change of the Kaedrin's fix itself, not what it does in its entirety, since it appears in a list of mod updates. In other words, my guess is that Kaedrin's fixes some unspecified bug with the FS, and that fix produced some debug text in an earlier version of the mod, which was then later removed. Most likely the "fix" was just the Wisdom change, anyway, and that there aren't two fixes in the pack, so it doesn't matter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
