steveocho Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 Hi, I downloaded 7 new mods [Enhanced Night (Galaxy), Enhanced Blood, Deadly Dragons, Sounds of Skyrim (Wilds), Sounds of Skyrim (Dungeon), A Quality World Map (All roads), and SkyUI], all manually installed. I extracted the files all to my Data folder unless specified otherwise (like Deadly Dragons). I also had two other mods installed before (Critical Charge Fix and Stagger Fix) which ran perfectly fine with no problems. I ran BOSS (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) because of what the readme said for the manual installation for Deadly Dragons. Everything seemed fine until I ran Skyrim then it gets to the black screen with the drum sound effects and crashes. In the Data Files section when you start up skyrim, i found it wierd that both Enhanced mods and the SkyUI mods was not listed. Maybe thats why the game is crashing? I'm using an ideapad y570 windows 7 laptop if that helps. Somebody help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
blitzen Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 So you are running with only 9 mods? That's it? Are you using NMM to install? If so, do a quick check of each mod in the plugins tab. It will show any dependencies that each mod has on other mods. You have to select each mod and see what NMM displays as dependencies. Do that for each mod you have. Not having a mod that is a dependency for an installed mod is a way to get instant CTD when starting Skyrim.
