"Alright, I have a question.

How would I go about making this compatible with Ren's hair? Or make the options appear for that matter.

And also, how would I add different eyes to the selection too?

--- Thanks in advance."

I posted that on the Tabaxi Cat Race 2.0 thread.

Someone told me to ask here, so I am.

So to generalize the question, how would I go about making custom hair compatible with a custom race? And how to I add custom eyes to that race too?

Thanks in advance.

Open up the rens beauty pack as secondary and your customrace.esp as the active file in CS, then you open up 3 tabs; characters-->race, characters-->eyes and characters-->hair, now right click on the eye & hair models you want for your custom race and click duplicate. Now move in the race menu to the race you want to edit, then click the 'body data' tab, drag and drop the duplicated hairs and eyes to their own windows.(Eyes are the upper window, hairs to the lower, on the right side of the tab.) Once you're done with this, click 'ok' on all the tabs to save the changes in them, then save the .esp and you can proceed to playing. :)

Hopefully this helps. ^_^

It's not as hard as you are making it out to be, I had the entire instructions on how it's done written in the same post i referred you to ask in here with, but out of respect for Luchaire I edited it out of my post and asked if you'd make a thread here. It's really simple, done this probably 300 times, here's the construction set link

you'll want to learn a little about it eventually

You could also get Race Balancing Project, which includes Tabaxi (renamed Ohmes-Rath by bg for lore purposes.) It includes pretty much every eye and hair mod out there, as well as Mystic Elves (renamed Hidden Elves by bg for lore purposes) and Xivilai races. It does a lot of other things too, like make new enemies for FCOM using the new stuff, add new hairs and eyes to NPCs (merged with TNR as well), and most importantly, rebalance every race and birthsign so that every race is distinct. I highly recommend it.
