salawow
Hi TLDR at the end. So i have a a lot of mods + ENB, but with time and a lot of reading and tweaking i managed to make it quite stable. It still crash occasionally, but so far i only had 4 CTD in a 50+ hours playthrough. The only issue remaining was stuttering. Before last week i had a GTX 970 which was VRAM capped, so i always thought all those stutter was texture loading in and out constantly because of not having enough VRAM. This week i upgraded to a RTX 2070 which has 8GB VRAM. Most stutters are gone, but it still stutters when riding horses. I was lucky enough to have a save that is quite close to a rock and a few other spots where stutter always occured when riding past it, so i did a bit of troubleshooting. Initially i thought it was simply related to cell loading and moving fast on horse, but instead i narrowed it to being in 3rd person. I think it's worth mentioning that CPU, GPU, RAM and VRAM are not maxed/capped. Results of my test, where i load my save and go to those few spots where it stuttered on horse riding. Riding horse (3rd person): StuttersMoving on foot with increased speed through console (3rd person): StuttersMoving on foot at normal speed (3rd person): StuttersMoving on foot at increased speed (First person): No stuttersMoving on foot at normal speed (First person): No stutters TLDR: I have micro stutter when moving along a road in 3rd person, whatever if i'm on horse or on foot. However, it doesn't happen in 1st person. CPU, GPU, RAM and VRAM are not maxed. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it ? jones177
Hi First off, if your CPU is at 25%(4 core) usage you are maxed out. This sort of thing is usually an ENB ini issue. The GTX 970 was the first card I used with ENB. When I upgraded to a GTX 980 I could use the exact same game ini and ENB ini settings as the 970. When I upgraded to a GTX 980 ti my games became a stuttering mess. It took 2 weeks of testing to get my game back smooth again. I used the STEP guide. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INIhttps://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBseries_INIhttps://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB When I upgraded to a GTX 1080 I had to do the hole thing over again. I now use a RTX 2080 ti. It uses the same settings as the 1080 & 1080 ti. Here is what I use. [PROXY]EnableProxyLibrary=falseInitProxyFunctions=trueProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll[GLOBAL]UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=falseUseDefferedRendering=trueIgnoreCreationKit=true[PERFORMANCE]SpeedHack=trueEnableOcclusionCulling=true[MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=falseReduceSystemMemoryUsage=trueDisableDriverMemoryManager=falseDisablePreloadToVRAM=falseEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=10240EnableCompression=trueAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false[THREADS]DataSyncMode=0PriorityMode=0EnableUnsafeFixes=false[MULTIHEAD]ForceVideoAdapterIndex=falseVideoAdapterIndex=0[WINDOW]ForceBorderless=falseForceBorderlessFullscreen=false[ENGINE]ForceAnisotropicFiltering=trueMaxAnisotropy=16ForceLodBias=falseLodBias=0.0AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=falseEnableVSync=falseVSyncSkipNumFrames=0[LIMITER]WaitBusyRenderer=falseEnableFPSLimit=falseFPSLimit=10.0[iNPUT]//shiftKeyCombination=16//f12KeyUseEffect=123//homeKeyFPSLimit=36//num / 106KeyShowFPS=106//print screenKeyScreenshot=44//enterKeyEditor=13//f4KeyFreeVRAM=115//BKeyBruteForce=66KeyDepthOfField=118[ADAPTIVEQUALITY]Enable=falseQuality=1DesiredFPS=20.0[ANTIALIASING]EnableEdgeAA=falseEnableTemporalAA=falseEnableSubPixelAA=false[FIX]FixGameBugs=trueFixParallaxBugs=trueFixParallaxTerrain=falseFixAliasedTextures=trueIgnoreInventory=trueFixTintGamma=trueRemoveBlur=falseFixSubSurfaceScattering=trueFixSkyReflection=trueFixCursorVisibility=trueFixLag=false[LONGEXPOSURE]EnableLongExposureMode=falseTime=1.0BlendMax=0.0 My enbseries.ini is default.
