I'm confused about using Location Aliases - They aren't filling for some reason

Hi, me again!

I'm just finishing off my first mod but whenever I'd add a Forced Reference to a Reference Alias, this message would pop up:

So I thought I'd follow the advice and try it out on a container (SamsStashBox), but as the Object Reference is in a new location I created called Sam's Camp (with a MapMarker and FT spawn heading), I felt that rather than using CommonwealthLocation, I should create my own Location modTheChampQst_SamsCampLocation and add it as a Location Alias and then use that for the AutofillGeneric01 Location Ref type.

However, as you may well have figured out by now, I'm not 100% sure how this is supposed to work and although the mod works when the references are Forced, it fails to fill when I use my TheChampQst_SamsCampLocation and AutofillGeneric01.

To clear things up for you, I'll post some screenshots of what the heck I'm going on about!

This is the Location Alias I added:

This is the Location used by the Location Alias:

On SamsCampCentreMarker (XMarker), under Location Ref Type I have LocationCentreMarker set. I'm not sure if this is a requirement (don't think so, coz nothing uses it?) but I tried to copy the setup from another location (Abernathy Farm) and this was set there. Also, the container reference does have the AutofillGeneric01 Location Ref Type set.

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, why it won't fill. I've searched for answers but couldn't find any and creationkit.com only has Location script reference; it doesn't describe how to set it up and if it does, I couldn't find it. It's not imperative that I use a new Location for this quest but this is something I need to know for future mods.

Thanks  :geek: :pirate:
