How to use your character in other saved worlds

Sometimes I wish that I could play an existing character in another player character's world, like a world where the Legion/Stormcloaks already won, or a fresh world where you can start over with an already experienced character for RP purposes. However, there aren't really any mods that cover that. Asking around, I couldn't find anyone else that knew how to port players in an actual playable form to another world. Don't know how many people actually needed this, but I want to make this guide for anyone that wanted to do this but didn't know how.

Turns out it's a lot more simple than you'd think: all you need are two mods

Alternate Actors by Iceburg

Familiar Faces by Verteiron

From there, load up a save for the world you want to play in and use the Portal Stone that spawns in your inventory to visit the "Shrine of Heroes", where you can find any saved PC's and recruit them as a follower. After teleporting back to the game world, use Spell CONTROL OTHER (COMPLETE) to take complete control of your current follower/PC. This will give you complete control over them in the new world, including access to inventory, magic, active effects, and allow you to level as you please. That's all it takes, and after that you're good to go!
