jacelyn
Hi! I'm in the process of creating my own quest mod and there is one particular loose end I just can't seem to find a fix for: Throughout the quest, the player gathers various materials which they later need for crafting an item. Obviously I don't want the player to get rid of the materials but at the same time, I can't check the "Quest Object" field in the Reference Alias because if that was checked, the materials couldn't be used for crafting. It's kind of a vicious circle. How could I force the player to keep those materials in their inventory? (The materials are custom by the way so they're not easily replaceable such as Gold Ingots or anything like that.) Despite the mod being completely playable from start to finish, this is quite essential for the mod to work properly as the player is naturally inclined to sell valuables. Thank you in advance for your answers. PS. I have two minor additional questions unrelated to the above issue but still slightly inconvenient:1. I placed some blood decals in a torture chamber but when I put a dead body under them the blood is only shown on the table. Is there a way to make it appear on the body?2. I placed a journal in a tavern for the player to find. The reference has no owner, but it still says "Steal" when you want to pick up the journal (probably because the cell owner is the innkeeper?). How can I make it so the journal can just be taken by the player like any unowned item in Tamriel?
