uhmattbravo Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 I've done something somewhat similar in the past and evp worked just fine.... granted I was using a radio (weapon) object instead of dialogue to issue commands. Basically I used unplayable armor items as tokens that were specific to each command with packages set to check if the actor had that specific token. On a command change, the old token was removed, the new one added and then evp. Worked like a charm. I might be able to dig it up to get more specific if needed, but IIRC, the evp was called from a script on the actor form. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dubiousintent Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 I've added a comment about "ResetAI" to the 'TIP: Making NPCs move (aka "AI Packages")' because it is useful to know, but given the wording about it in GECKWiki, it would seem to be preferable to figure out why EVP didn't work.
