oliv897 Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 I have a chronic phobia of Fish + Water (At least if I stay away from 1 then the other rarely bothers me) but there comes a time in Skyrim when you need to cross water and that I can handle but when the little Slaughterfish come up I end up rage quitting Skyrim and getting my brother to come round and swim over. So I beg anyone with the skill to make a mod to remove all of them from the game and give say mud crabs the fish fins(for quests) that would be ace! That's awesome thanks so much! and i don't want them replaced what I want is what they drop when killed put into mud crabs, if I remember rightly there was a few quests that required you to kill slaughterfish and then bring back their fins for a potion.. but the quest will break if there are none ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dragonslayer2k12 Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Would be nice to just have a script that runs for your character and it instantly kills any slaughterfish nearby so they float to the top of the water and you just pick them up! Then you don't have to replace them or remove them from the game. This would also help with keeping your follower from going all OCD on slaughterfish every single time you get anywhere near them even when a dragon is flying over. Where the stalls outside have fish hanging from a bar or in a player owned house where they are hanging from a bar near the ceiling? Also they are items in the game not reality so they really can't do anything to you. I know you have some kind of phobia but what you have is not nearly as bad as what some other people have like fear of dogs or cats which is really strange to watch. The worst is probably fear of spiders or scorpions or other creepy things because at least with a cat or dog you know they can only go in certain places and they sleep around the same time as people but bugs and spiders always seem to get near you when you are asleep and also when you don't know where they are and they are almost completely silent so you can't hear them coming. Games are supposed to be fun. They're not supposed to be a mental test that subjects you to phobias. Nobody's forcing the mod on you, so there's no reason to argue that it's unecessary.
