CTD when entering Dragonsreach (Please send help!)

I don't know what mod is causing this but I simply cannot enter the dragonsreach interior. Not through the front door or through the dungeon. I've already gone through SSEEdit and the only mods affecting the cell are Dawnguard, USSEP, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Alt Start, Netrual Civil War, and Open Cities, but none of the mods appear to be conflicting eachother.

Please help if anyone can. I just want to enter dragonsreach and kill the jarl. Is that too much for a sociopathic dragonborn to ask?

From my experience, one of the major things that causes CTDs is when many actors are spawned by script. Warzones is notorious for this.

 

I'm not familiar with all of these mods so I have to ask. Do you have any mods that do this? Neutral Civil War maybe?

I don't Neutral Civil War would be causing it as it doesn't add any actors to Dragonsreach. Same goes for the rest of mods I'm using. At this point, I'm just ready to use brute force and disable every mod and re-enable them one at a time and see which ones causing so many problems

HI

I have found that The best tool to use for Skyrim is: TES5Edit. whenever I CTD. It will simply tell you that a mod is in the wrong load order and tell you where it should be. or that something is missing. my game crashed many times cos I installed all my mods manually. and TES5Edit was a blessing to me.

Vortex already uses a version of loot, and TES5Edit is just for the original skyrim. The SE version is called SSEEdit which I've already used and found no errors. The image is in the attached thumbnails section at the bottom of my original post

Disabling mods is definitely a good idea, but there is also another possibility. Skyrim is known for causing CTDs because of it's memory limit as well which is 2gb (this is also a common cause of CTDs). It can CTD without any mods at all just simply because you've been playing for awhile (although that's not the only thing that breaks the limit). You should try doing this as well:

Although keep in mind that I'm not sure if this applies to SSE. I only play Oldrim, but this is definitely worth a try.

Wonât need to. Brute force worked out in the end. I found out it was a mod called royal armory that gives some of the important characters their own unique weapons. Apparently Skyrim didnât like the balfruffâs new weapon. But thank you for the advice
