Osuirof Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Sometimes, after I disintegrate some poor bastard (laser, plasma, it doesn't matter), my companions keep shooting at that spot. Even after a while, and cell respawn, I got NPC's shooting at nothing in that same spot.I tried to disable the remains (skeleton, eyeball, etc), but it didn't seemed to work.Any ideas ? Osuirof Posted July 10, 2012 Author Share Posted July 10, 2012 lol, yesterday a whole lot of Raiders, killed an Enclave patrol, took their stuff, and disintegrated one of them with their own plasma rifle :D. 7thsealord Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 Sometimes, I have Companions who keep shooting things after they are dead, so to speak, or just freeze post-combat. If they have a teleporter or summoner, moving a short distance away and using that often works. Otherwise, exit sneak mode (if you are in it), holster weapon, and talk to them (just open the dialogue box, then just exit as normal). Usually, I find that combinations of all of the above work quite well. As a last resort if Companions seem really stuck, see if you can Fast-Travel someplace (if just to the nearest Map Marker). I know how to make them stop, but I want them to not do this at all because:- my companions can waste a crapton of ammo (including the veeery hard to find .303 for Bren Gun), and stay fixated on that spot,- NPC's stay fixated on that spot, so it's like shooting fish in the barrel. A few individual Companion mods have features to limit ammo usage. Otherwise, give your crew melee weapons and/or cheap ammo, if it bothers you that much. I can always additem some ammo. It just pisses me off, that they (companions, NPC's) are not doing what the should do, thus ruining my experience.
