Does anyone know if it would be possible to make a mod to allow animation sequences to be aborted?

I am so well and truly sick and tired of sitting on furniture accidentally while looting and being forced to watch my character go through some long ass animation where she sits down / lays down / whatever, for the love of atom can someone please make this a thing!?
