RavenX13
I have been suffering from crashes the past few days. It was mostly tolerable and I was going to try and find help. But a few minutes ago, I started up the game and after I pressed play on the steam window-thing, the screen went black, then crashed. I got the windows error message about how it would scan for a solution, but my window froze seconds after that. I had to restart my computer to fix it. I hope that someone can help me. If it helps, I used FOMM to deactivate a few files, but they weren't major mods. Also, a while back, I read somewhere that there was a specific size that the save file should be and I was wondering if it was true and if so, what it is. RavenX13
On the pages you posted, both say that I should launch with their respective launcher. Does it matter which one? I realize that this is a somewhat dumb question, but I have to be sure. Also, do you know of something like this for Skyrim? I've had the same freeze issue in the past and I want to be ready if it happens again. And thanks for the help.
durbin
If you run fake fullscreen it will run NVSE and 4 gig patch if they are installed properly. Also there is a game companion mod that works for every game here http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/42956.
RavenX13
I just tried to runn FalloutNV and there was almost no change. The only difference was that the game window was off-center. I downloaded the fullscreen mod, placed it in the falloutNV folder in the steam section, and created a shortcut on my desktop. I downloaded the 4GB one and placed the files from the zip in a folder on my desktop. Any idea what I did wrong? Also, the third link led me to the 'New Mods Today' page, just to let you know. Do I put all the stuff from the 4GB zip in there or just a certain file? If so, which one?
durbin
You have to put the two files that are required I think its the exe and the other file that says keep it with.
