MrSpark
In complete honesty, I am shocked that these two mods do not exist and would really like to see them made...but as I have little to no modding skill, requesting is all I can do 1.) I would love to see Sithis's robes/armor made playable...I'm not sure how a modder would remove the robes/hood from the statue... [p.s. I hate to get picky but I would like the armor to be pieced up so you can mix and match with other armors and so they can be individually enchanted] and 2.) A skeleton race that does not involve the appearance simply being clothes that are auto-equipped on creation as in I would love the race to be able to equip vanilla armors (this may already exist but I haven't found it...anywhere...) Any interested? Seriously, I'd love to see these mods made and would use them in a heartbeat Edited July 2, 2012 by MrSpark
Nephenee13
The first would require actually creating the armor in question. It doesn't exist as "actual" armor. As for the second. there are several non-trivial problems with the entire conept.
MrSpark
The first would require actually creating the armor in question. It doesn't exist as "actual" armor. As for the second. there are several non-trivial problems with the entire conept. so...if i understand correctly... 1.) is not impossible, just a lot of work designing armor that is based off of the Sithis statue... (it is not a conversion, but creation from scratch) and 2.) is utterly impossible is that about right? if so, the second kind of stumps me because I thought someone did the exact same thing except for a goblin race that could equip any vanilla armor and I couldn't think of a reason the same couldn't be done with skeletons? I'm not arguing, just trying to better understand
WarRatsG
1: Exact same process as creating any other armour and adding it to the game. 2: Not impossible, just really damn awkward. To make a perfect simulation, you would need to:- Retexture all clothes and armour to match the skelton's body texture, while still allowing the same clothes and armour to apply their normal textures to the rest of the NPCs.- Either find some weird and wonderful way to rework the skeleton's "skeleton" to match the default animations while maintaining the integrity of the original skeleton animations, or do the same to the animations as the armour.- Fragment the skeleton's mesh to create armour slots- And many other things, I'm sure. These are just off the top of my head. Edited July 2, 2012 by WarRatsG
MrSpark
Ah, well...i suppose this topic is finished then there doesn't seem to be a delete option anywhere so could someone please tell me how to get it flagged for deletion? (or is it just on a timer where it is deleted after so much time has passed?) anyway, thanks for everyone's comments; I honestly would like to see Sithis armor made if anyone is interested
