enclave1488
Hi, I have been working on the weapon sounds for 20th Century Weapons, creating 3D Distance sounds for all the guns in the mod.I have a question about the sounds tab however. What exactly does "Reverb Attenuation Control" do? The G.E.C.K wiki does not really explain to me well enough what exactly this does when the slide is set from 0 -100.Why do some 3D sounds for Vanilla weapons have the slide set to 100 and others not?And what about Frequency Adjustment? Some of the 20th Century sounds have a 4% Frequency but none of the Vanilla weapon sounds I have looked at.I am just trying to understand these settings better without having to go into game a 100 times and test out each setting by itself to see what the exact differences are when I am hearing 3D and 3D Distance fire by NPCs.I am linking a picture of the sounds tabs so you can see what I am talking about. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/5049/87178234.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us I appreciate any help I can get from more experienced modders. enclave1488
http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Sound Might help some. Yeah I was looking at that yesterday. It helped a bit but not all the way. That's ok though, I have adjusted the 20th Century Weapon sounds according to their gun types to those of Vanilla Weapon Sounds. All the Assault Rifle types are adjusted to the Cowboy Reapeater sounds, and it works very well, as the fire sounds are heard at the distance now that I prefer and at the appropiate levels, same with revolvers, pistols etc... to those of their Vanilla counterpart types. Thanks for the reply  Edited July 3, 2012 by enclave1488
