MrMagicMacMan
Just as the title goes. I downloaded the thermopylae mod for skyrim and the Immortal armor looks pretty f***ing sweet. Only problem, it's heavy armor, and my character uses light armor. Is there anyway I can change it to a light armor and maybe downplay it's armor rating so it won't be overpowered? McMutton
You can just open up the mod in the Creation Kit and change the armour's settings in the Items>Armor category.

Only problem, it's heavy armor, and my character uses light armor. Is there anyway I can change it to a light armor and maybe downplay it's armor rating so it won't be overpowered? It's quite easy:1. Open the CK and load the file (set it as active)2. Search for the armor (use the filter and search the ID of the armor pieces you want to edit. (it's often similar or same as the name)3. Right click on the armor piece and select "Edit"4. On the left side next to "Weight" there's a tab where you can select "Light", "Heavy", or "None" ---> Choose light^^5. Below the "Weight", you can type in the "Armor Rating"6. Save and enjoy :)
MrMagicMacMan
Thanks for you help, guys! Could you show me where to download the creation kit? Skyrim is the first game I've ever played non-console so I'm still pretty unfamiliar with things like creation kit, textures, and what not ;^_^
McMutton
You can find it in your Steam Library under the Tools category.

McMutton
You had to have used it to activate the game, unless you've pirated it.
MrMagicMacMan
Is it a pirated version if my friend gave me a generic CD with "Sky-r0m" written in sharpie?
Shad0wThirteen
Yes, it is, as it is an illegal copy of the original.I also used a pirated version to see how Skyrim works and everything and I liked what I saw, so I bought it :DJust buy it, a non pirated version is so much better! You know that a pirated one does have a high chance to be way more buggy than the original one?Oh and it's easier to update. And you get support.^^ So, there's no way to download the CK without Steam.
