dezdimona Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 lucky if I watch an hour of TV a day, sorry,no dice!
Vagrant0 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 The older series was a bit more Brittish and a bit less contrived.
tyreil829 Posted August 21, 2008 Author Posted August 21, 2008 Vag? you watch both of them? US and UK? Col John Sheppard
Dragonblade86 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I didn't even know there was an American version o.O
Michlo Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I didn't even know there was an American version o.O For some reason, the US likes to re-make hit British shows rather than importing them. They are usually flops because they need that certain Britishness about them in order to work (Coupling anyone?). On the other hand, I upgraded to digital cable a while back in order to get BBC America so that I could stay in touch with home and umm, it is usually full of home improvement or antique shows! Ugh. Of course, thanks to the internet I can still keep up on some of the good stuff. heh. Cheers.
tyreil829 Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 coupling is basiclly freinds isnt it Col John Sheppard
Michlo Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 coupling is basiclly freinds isnt it Col John Sheppard hehe, that is exactly what struck me as well except, of course, it is rather more risque. Still, a very funny show which is why I bought the DVDs. :) Cheers.

Half the fun of the show lies in the budget effects... Which is why it kinda started to suck after season 3.
