kipac Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hi, I just downloaded some of texture enhancing mods (HD 2k something like that) and installed to my game, but it ended up crashing the game.. Before modding, everything was working perfect even in ultra/high settings, but after modding, the S N E W and other location icons that are supposed to placed 'in' the 'compass' are expanded to the whole top of the screen. And when I'm in the loading screen, it takes forever and the screen turns black (I can hear the sound though).The problem is, this issue is continuing even after I uninstalled every single mod. What could be the cause of this? and do I have to uninstall the game and start it from the scratch?That would be pretty depressing, considering it was my first time using mods.. kipac Posted July 3, 2012 Author Share Posted July 3, 2012 It seems the cause of the crash in loading screen was due to the AMD Catalyst 12.7 Beta I downloaded.I downloaded this version because it's supposed to increase Skyrim and some of other games' performances for 20%, but after I uninstalled it the game seems to work fine without crashing.Still not sure about compass problem though.
